Virtual Enterprises Students Tell Their Stories Inside the Internships

Students in the Virtual Enterprises International (VEI) entrepreneurship program are more than ready to make real contributions to organizations in need of their energy and skills. VEI participants from high schools around the city described their paid summer internship experiences with New York business. Some students are native New Yorkers, others are recent transplants. Each will carry a lasting memory of their first summer job, first boss, first paycheck.

Thanks to support from JP Morgan Chase & Co.  for the second year, VEI students had the opportunity to spend six weeks learning and contributing to the organizations listed above — for-profit, non-profit and government agencies. These outstanding internship hosts represent a combination of established and growing businesses spanning different industries and markets,  each offering valuable working opportunities for graduating VEI students.
